December 2019

New Features and Enhancements

Added a new vehicle status of 'Charging' to indicate that an electric vehicle is currently not in motion and actively being charging. This new status, and its corresponding icon, are visible on the map, the Vehicle Details dialog box, and the vehicle history gantt chart or single history tab.

Fixed a fault in the Map screen's Go To dialog box when searching for extended street addresses that resulted in suggested matches containing only a street name.
Corrected a fault that stopped uploaded report templates from being recognized by the Create Report screen search bar.
Fixed a problem that could cause Planned vs Actual reports to contain no data.
Fixed a bug that could stop scheduled report options being displayed, instead showing an error message.
Corrected a bug that prevented the selection of the 'Active' or 'All' hierarchy drop-down items when adding vehicles or drivers from the Fleets & Teams screen.
Corrected a fault that could stop the Asset Types screen working after adding or deleting an asset type.
Fixed a cosmetic issue when using the German-language interface that caused text to be cut off on the History tab of the Vehicle Details pop-up.

Bug Fixes / Technical Release Notes

Fixed a translation fault in the main menu that resulted in an incorrect translation of 'Home' for Italian interface customers.
Corrected an error message shown when creating Hours of Service Unassigned Miles reports.
Fixed a bug that caused new accounts to be shown legacy versions of the Trip, Manifest, and Daily Summary reports.
Corrected a problem that resulted in German History reports displaying both English and German text when exported in Excel format.

October 2019

New Features and Enhancements

Added "From" and "To" date range pickers to the Nav Monitor feature.

Removed support for generating custom report data, and for creating "Rollup" reports

Bug Fixes / Technical Release Notes

Corrected several untranslated "OK", "Cancel", "Yes", and "No" button labels.
Fixed a fault on the map that stopped custom cluster colors being used when specified.
Corrected a History fault that resulted in a "No Signal" status being shown despite a known status being recorded.
Fixed an InSight Alerts screen bug that resulted in alert durations being shown as less than one minute when the duration was either greater than one minute, or unknown.
Fixed a reporting issue that could result in an error message being shown when generating a report.
Corrected an InSight Alerts fault that resulted in an error message being shown when filtering by alert ID.
Fixed a fault that stopped some sensor and diagnostics reports respecting all configuration options.
Fixed a bug in Subuser Login reports that prevented the node picker working for admin accounts, so in turn showed results for all users.

Corrected a confusing error message shown after selecting invalid driver assignment time range from the Vehicle Driver Assigner dialog box.

 

September 2019

New Features and Enhancements

Added the new "Only if the light bar is off" check box option to Speeding, Speeding Against Speed Limit, Idle, Switch Diagnostic, Event Diagnostic, and Gauge Diagnostic InSight Alerts. Use this box to prevent these alerts being triggered when the vehicle light bar is on. Only available in suitably configured accounts.
Added support for allowing mobile users to create new trailers from within WorkPlan if their trailers are not in the trailer list. For information on the settings required, see Allowing Mobile Users to Create Trailers.
Updated marker behavior when the country containing a new marker is unknown. Previously, these markers defaulted to "USA" as their country location, but now default to "Unknown".
Updated the HOS event list that is accessed from the "Hours of Service" screen's Drivers tab to contain only active events.
Updated the default options and rights assigned when given permission to use the Create Report screen. Previously, some of these rights were incorrectly denied when they should have been granted.
Updated the row limit for Marker Activity reports to a maximum of 100,000 entries.
Updated the HOS event list that is accessed from the "Hours of Service" screen's "Drivers" tab to contain only active events.
Improved filtering performance in the Markers screen by automatically removing non-alphanumeric punctuation items, such as commas and underscores, from filter queries.
Improved the wording of logs recorded when downloading data using the Digital Tachograph feature.

Bug Fixes / Technical Release Notes

Fixed a reporting fault that caused multiple "Error getting member for report" errors to be shown.
Fixed a formatting bug that allowed text on the vehicle History tab to be cut off when viewed on monitors with low screen resolutions.
Fixed a bug that stopped the "Options" and "Delete" buttons activating on the Custom Templates tab of the Manage Reports screen.
Corrected a fault that could cause several columns of information in Unit Health reports to be merged into the "VIN" column.
Fixed a cosmetic issue in HTML format Marker Activity and Manifest reports that caused an extra line to be added to the bottom of these reports.
Fixed a bug that caused the Markers screen to display an error message, and then an empty white screen, when loading details for a selected marker.
Corrected a cosmetic fault on the Markers screen that caused an icon to display incorrectly.
Fixed a bug that stopped email addresses saving correctly on the Properties tab of the Hierarchy screen.

August 2019

New Features and Enhancements

Added support for opening an HOS event list for each driver listed on the "Hours of Service" screen's "Drivers" tab.
Added the columns "Exempt" and "Comments" to the ELD Unidentified Driving Reports.
Modified the minimum time to trigger InSight Alerts with an "Idle" type to 1 minute.
Changed the permissions for editing mobile default settings to be restricted to main and admin users only.
Updated the period for editing Hours of Service events to be 4 weeks inclusive.

Corrected a map layers problem that stopped the USA radar layer automatically refreshing.
Corrected an error when trying to edit the options for scheduled reports.
Fixed a scorecards fault that showed inconsistent idle time values on scorecards and history summaries.
Corrected a cosmetic fault that showed a '%20' character in the Fleet selector menu.
Fixed an issue on the Digital Tachograph screen, where driving time was not shown under "This Week".
Fixed the value for driving time + working time on the Digital Tachograph screen to display correctly.

July 2019

New Features and Enhancements

Added the ability to download multiple DVIR forms using the Maintenance Connect interface.
Added a loading state indicator (an animated spinning icon) to the Digital Tachograph sidebar menu. This menu loads independently from the platform, and can therefore take longer to load. The loading indicator indicates that the menu is behaving normally.
Added support for URLs and email addresses in Messaging automatically turning into links when the message is sent.
Updated the design and behavior of the main platform menu. This menu now includes support for multiple simultaneously expanded sections, tooltips, menu text filtering, and keyboard shortcuts ("Ctrl+K" to select the filter field, "Ctrl+S" to add or remove filtered and highlighted menu "Favorites").
Updated the appearance of the version text shown in the upper right corner of the platform screen.
Improved the performance and layout of the Driver ELD Health reports.
Improved the initial loading behavior of the platform when resources fail to load. Information about the resources that failed to load are now logged to the console.

Fixed a fault that could stop the Digital Tachograph screen opening correctly in Internet Explorer browsers.
Corrected a bug that stopped the order of open tabs being saved between sessions in accounts using the updated main menu system.

New Features and Enhancements

Added hidden keywords to the Create Reports filtering system to improve search behavior, Using these keywords now returns relevant reports that might not include the text in their titles. Keywords include "System", "Users", "Routing", "Stops", "Job", "Hardware", "Administration", "Alerts", "Driver Behavior", "Efficiency", "HOS", "ELD", "IFTA", "Hours of Service", "Compliance", "Vehicle Health", "Maintenance", "Diagnostics", "Operations", "Trip", "Trips", "Productivity", "Overview", "Mapping", "Fuel", "Tax", "Distance", "Optimization", "Odometer", "Overdue", "Work", and more.
Updated the Map Inputs tab of the Install Types screen to list analog and digital inputs alphabetically. Previously, these were listed in the order they were initially added.
Updated the behavior of the Driver Card field when configuring a driver to log in using the Digital Tachograph system. This field now accepts only 14 characters rather than the previous 16.
Updated the wording used on Parameters tab of the Setup InSight Alerts screen for alerts using the Smart Speeds system. The checkbox for relevant alert types is now labeled "Use Smart Speeds" rather than "Use Smart Speed Limits".
Updated the formatting of metric speed units in the user interface from "kph" to the SI standard "km/h".

Bug Fixes / Technical Release Notes

Fixed a bug that could stop the Mileage Graph on the Home screen loading.
Corrected a fault that could cause buttons on some dialog boxes to be hidden when viewed in a browser with a magnification greater than 100%.
Fixed an InSight Alert reports bug that could stop report types displaying under the "Alert Type" column, and correct values under the "Duration" column.
Corrected a problem in the Trips report that caused end address locations to be shown only as a street number.
Fixed a cosmetic fault in the Unit Health report that resulted in header text being clipped in Excel versions of the report.
Fixed a bug in some analytics reports that could cause the report header to state "Team: All" rather than the drivers specified for the report.

 

May 2019

New Features and Enhancements

Updated the Manifest report to include a key detailing the meaning of the exception types ("S", "I", and "P") shown in the report, and to display maximum vehicle speed as a whole number rather than with a decimal value.
Updated the Marker Activity report to remove text that was not relevant to accounts that supported the hiding of vehicle speeds.
Updated the deprecated Heavy Vehicle Fuel Used and Heavy Vehicle Fuel Efficiency KPIs to display the same values as the "Fuel Used" and "Fuel Efficiency" KPIs, in order to reduce confusion.
Increased the default retention period of messages from 1 day to 14 days.

Bug Fixes / Technical Release Notes

Fixed a reporting fault that could result in extremely large reports that failed to complete being listed with status of failed rather than aborted.
Fixed a bug that stopped the "Contact Support" page loading correctly if it was the only open tab when signing in to the platform.
Corrected a bug that caused the "Total Cost" field in Maintenance History reports to be empty.
Fixed a bug that caused an error message to be shown when configuring driver details from the Edit Driver dialog box and not providing a "Based At" marker (by selecting the "None" option). The "None" button has been removed in circumstances when pressing it might cause this problem.
Corrected a fault in Verizon Connect Share that could stop newly-configured customer shares being listed in the Share tab.
Corrected a problem in the Manifest report (by Vehicle) that caused the start and end address locations to be shown only as a street number.

April 2019

New Features and Enhancements

Updated the platform to automatically notify you when a new version is available, and to prompt a manual update (by refreshing your browser tab). This notification is shown on a new informational banner.
Updated the Trip report to include the number of stops made at each marker category, and improved its formatting when exported as an Excel spreadsheet.
Updated the Unit Health report to include non-hierarchy vehicles.
Updated the pagination of the InSight Alerts Inbox to remove the total page count, and the ability to manually select a page number. These changes have been made to support infinite pagination.
Improved the ELD Log Audit report.
Improved validation of the "Username" and "Email Address" fields on the Create Subuser dialog box. The mandatory nature of these fields is now indicated by the use of red borders.

Bug Fixes / Technical Release Notes

Fixed an error that could be shown when opening the Fleets & Teams screen.
Fixed a bug that allowed the upper and lower bounds of Low DVIR Walkaround Probability InSight Alerts to be set to values above 100 or below 0, and that allowed the upper bound value to be less than the lower bound value.
Corrected a cosmetic fault that caused the wrong header text to be shown when editing a share in the Verizon Connect Share interface.
Fixed a bug that caused the informational tooltips on the Create Reports page to disappear too quickly for their text to be read.
Fixed a permissions fault that could stop some accounts with suitable rights from editing the details of drivers.
Corrected an untranslated "unknown" stop category in Trip reports.
Fixed a Unit Health report bug that stopped Hierarchy node names being shown in some NRU reports, and that caused the "Driver" column to always state "Unknown".

March 2019

New Features and Enhancements

Added support for self-signed Single Sign On certificates. As part of this change, the SSO configuration dialog box has also been updated and moved to a new location.
Added four new default read-only roles suitable for assignment to the most commonly found categories of users: "Default Admin User", "Default Standard User", "Default Mobile User", and "Default Viewer". These roles cannot be edited or deleted, as indicated by padlock icons added to the new "Read Only" column on the Roles screen. Role assignments for existing users have not been changed by this addition.
Added a Fault Severity tab to the "Advanced" option on the "Form Template" screen. On this tab you can define the severity for items that display on driver forms in WorkPlan.
Added the new Low DVIR Walkaround Probability InSight Alert, used to alert when DVIR reports might not have been completed properly.
Updated the appearance of Manifest reports to comply with style guidelines (changes made include improved alignment of text with columns, and the prevention of text clipping in cells).
Updated the Unit Health report to replace the "Unit ID" column with an "ESN" column.
Updated the formatting of street addresses shown when right-clicking some European territory maps. Street numbers and names are now ordered to better match regional preferences.

Fixed a bug that prevented emails separated by new lines on the Hierarchy screen's properties tab being sent.
Corrected a fault in the Hierarchy screen that stopped nodes selected in the left tree menu from being accurately reflected in the right node items grid.
Fixed a bug that stopped the "Refresh" button on the Hierarchy screen updating the hierarchy tree state after a change.
Corrected a Hierarchy fault that delayed the appearance of roles that were moved into the "Unassigned" node.
Fixed a problem that stopped the correct assignment of rights to tag Hierarchy nodes when given global rights to use tags.
Fixed a bug that caused gaps to be appear in vehicle histories drawn on the History Gantt chart.
Corrected a permissions fault that could allow users to access data that their accounts did not have suitable rights to access.

Added support for company card and issuing state details to the Hierarchy for customers using the Digital Tachograph feature.

Added the unit value (feet or meters) to the filter tool on the Markers screen when filtering by marker radius.
Added manufacturer-specific vehicle brand logos and text for supported vehicles.
Added an option allowing HOS users to enable public utility exemptions to the Driver Details dialog and the mobile user account settings.
Improved support for selecting and copying text from data grids. Previously, some data grids (such as those in the Fleets & Teams, Hours of Service, Markers, and Setup InSight Alerts screens) prevented text from being selected using a mouse.
Renamed the ELD settings "Carrier USDOT No." to "Carrier Number" in the account ELD settings and on the Hierarchy screen's Details tabs.
Removed several "Telogis" branded items that were missed during recent branding updates.

Bug Fixes / Technical Release Notes

Fixed a fault that could cause incorrect data to be show in the "Diagnostic Parameters" field of the Parameters tab when an invalid or null TID was used for DTC InSight Alerts. Under these conditions, this field is now also set as read-only.
Corrected a bug that allowed markers to be edited or deleted by users without suitable rights.
Corrected a fault that could cause high CPU usage under some conditions, resulting in unexpected session timeouts.
Corrected fault that stopped the Marker Import tool working if the shape of markers had not been specified.
Fixed an error message shown when opening the Manage Report screen in some accounts.
Corrected a bug that prevented CSV format Speed reports populating driver names for all speed event.
Fixed a bug that could cause the selected tab to change after re-sizing the current window.
Corrected a fault that could allow the names of vehicles transferred from one account to another to continue appearing in Hierarchy reports in the previous account.

January 2019

New Features and Enhancements

Added the ability to request Verizon Cat-M1 enterprise asset tracking devices in My Account.
Removed the unused "Route Category" column from the Drivers screen, and the related "Categories" field from the Details tab of the Edit Driver dialog box.

Bug Fixes / Technical Release Notes

Fixed a bug that allowed option-controlled columns to remain visible even after the right to use the feature had been removed from an account.
Corrected a fault that stopped users from creating InSight Alerts for Install Types or Assets Types, despite their accounts having permission to see both.
Fixed a permissions issue that allowed accounts without rights to create, edit or delete Install Types to see the buttons used for these actions on the Install Types screen.
Fixed a cosmetic bug that could cause the bottom edges of vehicle icons shown on the map to be cut off.
Corrected a bug that caused the width of columns in the Reports page to change randomly after enabling the "Save Column Order" checkbox, changing the order of columns, and then closing and reopening the screen.

 

December 2018

New Features and Enhancements

Added a new vehicle export option, "Export List View" to the Vehicles list. Export options are now "Export Map View", "Export List View", and "Export Al".
Added support for creating separate driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs) for trailers that drivers can complete in WorkPlan.
Added the setting "Allow users to assign drivers to vehicles using this asset type" to the Parameters tab of the "Asset Types" screen. This setting can be used when creating asset types for trailers, for which drivers can create separate DVIRs in WorkPlan.
Added support for marking unidentified HOS events as exempt on the "Events" tab of the "Hours of Service" screen.
Added the ability to delete a marker category when changing its permissions.
Added a warning and confirmation message when clicking the "Remove All" button in the Fleets & Teams screen to prevent accidental deletion of fleets.
Updated and improved the Markers screen. Help for the legacy "Map Markers" screen remains available here.
Updated and improved InSight Alerts reports.
Updated the criteria used for counting "seatbelt off" events as part of KPIs. These events are now counted only if the vehicle is moving at a speed of at least 5 MPH.
Updated the button text used when logging out of the platform from "Signout" to "Sign Out", and changed the "First" and "Surname" field labels on the Edit Driver dialog box to "First Name" and "Last Name".
Updated the default timeframe of reports from "Today" to "Yesterday". Analytics data can take up to 24 hours to appear in the platform, making reports for "Today" potentially incomplete or invalid.
Improved the quality of English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, and Chinese user interface translations.
Improved the consistency of the text labels used in the Verizon Connect Share system.
Improved the consistency of speed values shown on the map and map-related dialog boxes and tabs. "kph" is now consistently shown as "km/h".
Improved the tooltip descriptions shown for Maintenance Connect rights on the Rights tab of the Roles screen.
Limited the maximum number of metrics shown on charts on the Scorecard screen to 50 and added support for ordering the metrics shown on all types of charts by name or value.
Replaced the "Maintenance" rights on the Roles screen with three new rights. These new rights are used to define which roles are permitted to view details on the "Maintenance Connect" screen, and which roles have restricted or full editing rights.
Removed the obsolete "WorkPlan Help" link from the "Help" section of the main menu. This content duplicated the help already available from the main "Help" system.
Removed the redundant "Satellite Imagery on Maps" setting from the Map tab of the Settings dialog box. This functionality duplicates that already provided from the map toolbar.

Bug Fixes / Technical Release Notes

Fixed a bug that prevented Install Types being set for inactive vehicles.
Corrected a spelling mistake on the map 'Layers' dialog box (changed 'SpeedLimit' the 'Speed Limit').
Corrected a fault that could cause browsers to lock up and crash when viewing Scorecards.
Fixed a bug that could stop the road editor dialog box opening correctly.
Fixed a bug that caused the 'Member Rights' drop-down list, shown on the User Permissions tab of the Fleets & Teams screen, to be blank.
Corrected a fault that allowed reports to select the 'Inactive' fleet, when this should never be provided as an option in the fleet picker.
Fixed missing translations in Marker Activity reports.
Fixed an error that could be thrown when selecting an item from the panic editor grid.
Corrected an issue that stopped the Hierarchy screen displaying needed scrollbars when the screen was resized.
Corrected a bug that stopped the current column sequence being saved in the Hierarchy screen.
Fixed a fault that could cause vehicles to report inaccurate odometer values when selecting a low maximum vehicle speed (on the Speeding tab of the main Settings dialog box). This value must now be 99 MPH (159 KPH) or greater.
Corrected a bug when exporting fleets with names that included special characters (&/'"!) from the Fleets & Teams screen that resulted in CSV export files being misnamed and missing the '.csv' extension.

 

November 2018

New Features and Enhancements

Improved the coverage of the search tool in the Hierarchy screen. This tool now supports searching for full names, first names, middle names, and last names of subusers and drivers.
Improved the consistency of the vehicle driving history shown on the History tab below the map. Previously, gaps in the speed indicator line could be present if no speed limit data was available for a street.

Fixed a problem that caused some US State columns in 'Mileage' reports to merge together.
Corrected a bug that resulted in the company logo shown in 'DTC Activity' reports to be truncated.

October 2018

New Features and Enhancements

Added a 'Cancel' button to the Details tab of the Hierarchy screen, used to revert recently made changes in accounts that do not have the auto-save feature enabled.
Updated the Marker Categories page to allow multi-selection of grid items using the 'Shift' or 'Ctrl' keys on the Role Permissions tab.
Updated detailed InSight Alerts reports to include the total count of alerts being reported, and the total duration of these alerts.
Updated the My Account user interface to standardize 'install hardware', 'swap subscription' and 'retire and unretire vehicles' tasks on a single screen. This change also adds new 'undo' functionality, several new grid columns, and subscription count informational text.
Updated the capitalization of the 'Driver' and 'Vehicle' column names in the Find Activity tool's column picker.
Updated the way speed limit and vehicle restriction changes are shown on the map. This applies both to changes made using the road editor, and to changes resulting from map data updates by Verizon Connect.

New Features and Enhancements

Updated eleven standard report types (mileage, idle time, engine running time and utilization reports) to use a newer and more efficient reporting engine. This new engine allows better report performance when selecting large date ranges or vehicle sets. All other standard reports are also being moved to this engine over the course of the next year. This process will be completed seamlessly, so there is no need to update existing settings or report schedules. As part of this change, idle time reports no longer include a 'Total Fuel Quantity' column. If you have any questions about these changes, please contact your customer support partner or use the 'Contact Support' option under the 'Help' section of the main menu.
Improved the usability and appearance of the Fleets & Teams screen to better conform with the visual style used elsewhere in the platform.
Enabled support for advanced password policies in all accounts. Previously, this option was disabled by default and only available on request.
Updated the 'Training' link shown under the 'Help' section of the main menu. This now points to a new training portal in suitably configured accounts rather than to the previous, and now unsupported, training portal.
Added support for defining different ELD carrier details per hierarchy node. If you use WorkPlan as an ELD you must now add carrier details on the User tab of the Settings dialog box and you may add different carrier details per hierarchy node.

Added the new Hierarchy role right 'Move'. This new right gives customer roles that can view the Hierarchy the ability to move items between nodes. This right is configured using the new 'Can move items' option under the 'Hierarchy' section of the Roles screen in accounts with suitable rights.
Added the 'Contains depot markers' checkbox option to marker categories. Markers belonging to a category with this option enabled can be configured as the base markers for drivers and vehicles, in addition to HQ category markers.
Added a new welcome splash screen to the Create Reports screen, describing the advantages of new updated analytics reports, and how to identify them in the report tree. This features is only available in suitably configured accounts.

Improved sites integration in the Tags screen. Previously, clicking the 'Sites' tab on this screen could result in a significant delay as the sites list loaded, but is now much faster. In addition, this tab now includes standard pagination options.
Added a new role right that allows users to assign roles created by administrative users to other users, which might include rights that the assigner does not have themselves. This new 'Can assign administrator roles' right is configured from the 'Roles' section in the Roles screen in suitably configured accounts.

Previously, right-clicking a default path (the purple dotted line) on a newly-created polygon (not circle) site added a pin rather than opening the contextual menu, and the menu could not be opened until the site was first saved and then re-edited.

New Features and Enhancements

Improved the general performance and speed of the Markers page when managing large numbers of markers, especially for subuser accounts with restricted access to some markers, and when sorting.
Updated the site marker creation process to automatically generate an implied access path from all new markers to a point on the nearest road. This point is used as a destination for routes to your marker, unless you define one or more alternative access paths. You can also turn this implied access path into an explicit access path.

New Features and Enhancements

Updated full screen mode to maintain the visibility of all open dialog boxes and messages. Previously, dialog boxes and notifications might be hidden until full screen mode was exited.
Improved the wording of the message displayed to European users when requesting a password reset.
Improved the wording of a JSON error message shown when opening the Install Types screen if no, or incorrect, customer data was available. This message now includes more meaningful information.
Updated the client error notification shown if the connection to the server is lost. This message now includes constructive guidance to correct the problem.

New Features and Enhancements

Added visual representations of harsh braking and harsh acceleration events to the map history layer and pop-up dialog box, and as an information balloon above the event icon detailing the event time, type, driver involved, and location.
Updated the vehicle 'Maintenance All Faults' report to include details of fault statuses (open or closed) and, if closed, who updated the status and when.
Added the new 'Can Use Non-CDL Short-Haul Exemption' driver setting to the Mobile screen. This setting allow drivers to enable the non-CDL short-haul exemption from their WorkPlan mobile app.
Updated the behavior of the Tags tab of the Driver Details pop-up. Tags in this list are now sorted alphabetically.

New Features and Enhancements

Added the latitude and longitude location details of site markers to the Site Shape tab of the Sites dialog box. This new text also acts as a link, opening a contextual menu listing additional site and location-oriented tasks.
Added the 'Radius' field the Site Shape tab of the Sites dialog box. This field is used to specify the exact radius of circular yard sites in either feet or meters.
Added the Goals setting to the Scorecard Settings screen. This setting allows you to define a score that all drivers using the scorecard should aim to achieve. The setting is applicable only to scorecards that are viewable in Verizon Connect® Coach™.
Updated the default behavior of the Fleets & Teams screen when creating a new team or fleet. The 'Details' tab now opens immediately after clicking the 'Create' button, highlighting the sole required field, rather than opening the 'Vehicles' tab.
Updated the loading images shown when signing in to the platform. These now use the same logo size, position, and background color in order to maintain consistency during the loading process.
Updated the 'Language Variant' text label shown on the User tab of the main Settings dialog box to read 'Region', removing any confusion that this setting might change the UI language.
Updated the header text formatting of PDF Faults Reports. The headings in these PDF reports are now horizontally-oriented rather than vertically.

New Features and Enhancements

Added a new customer feedback and satisfaction survey form to the platform. This survey will be shown for the first time 90 days after your initial account activation. If dismissed, the survey will be presented again 30 days later; and the process will be repeated every 120 days thereafter.
Added a new 'DVIR' customer option to allow suitably configured customers to access the 'Latest Inspection Report' menu when right-clicking a vehicle icon on the map without also requiring the full Hours of Service suite of platform functionality.
Updated Maintenance Schedule Reports to allow the printing of only maintenance events due 'Today'.
Updated column selection behavior when selecting some, but not all, items in a list. The checkbox at the top of the checkbox column now displays a dash '-' to indicate a mixed selection.

Added new 'Florida' rules to the Hours of Service rule sets for mobile app users.
Added the new 'Can Use Personal Conveyance' and 'Can Use Yard Move' driver settings to the 'Verizon Connect Mobile' screen. These settings allow drivers to select Personal Conveyance or Yard Move modes from their WorkPlan mobile app.
Added the 'Airbag Alerts' digital diagnostic parameter to the available Switch Diagnostic Alert options for InSight Alerts.

New Features and Enhancements

The new 'Trips' screen has been added to the platform. It contains an Unassigned Miles tab, which allows any vehicle trips performed without an assigned driver, category or Hours of Service status to be manually amended, and a Classification tab, which allows you to view your drivers' trip classifications, whether business or personal, made via the Verizon Connect® Trips app.  
A new version of Mobile Messaging has been added, which allows supervisors to communicate more efficiently with their driver teams.
The Map screen has been updated to include the new Nav Monitor system, which allows users to view all routes and route segments that a driver has requested and taken while using the Navigation mobile app.
The Hours of Service screen has been updated with a newer and more user-friendly interface.
The new User Access Windows screen has been added to the platform. This screen is used for specifying access windows for Verizon Connect® WorkPlan™ mobile users.
Added the new Custom Driver Status configuration system for assigning Verizon Connect® WorkPlan™ work flow templates. This update includes the new Driver Status screen to view current driver statuses, and two new driver status reports.
Added a new guided introductory tour to the platform. To launch the tour, click the 'Get Started Tour' link under the 'Help' section of the main menu. This feature is only available to suitably configured users.
Added the new My Account feature for self-managing credit card payments, ordering new hardware and adding vehicle subscriptions; and added new associated role rights.
Added the Maintenance Connect system for tracking vehicle trouble codes (DTCs), and for creating, applying and tracking fleet maintenance schedules and logs.
Updated the Marker Categories screen to include new role-based permission levels.
Updated the 'Go To' map search dialog box to provide auto-complete suggestions for addresses, markers and jobs as users type in their search queries.
Updated the Password Policy settings on the 'Settings' dialog box. Administrators can now restrict the number of previously used passwords that can be reused when choosing a password.
Added the new Sites marker system, allowing for tags, custom attributes, multiple contact details; and access paths that define entrance and exit gates, direction of travel, and custom paths for traffic traveling to and from sites.
The Rights tab on the Roles screen has been updated to include better descriptions of the rights available to subusers, and a brief explanation of the purpose of each right. As part of this update, the Rights tab of the Edit User dialog box has also been updated to reflect the style of the 'Roles' screen, removing the previous checkbox options and expanding the number of rights that can be configured.
Roles on the 'Roles' screen can now be duplicated using a new 'Copy' button. The duplicate role created will contain the same rights are the source role, but no assigned users.
The 'Vehicle Details' dialog box can now be used to specify the type of engine used by a vehicle (for example, internal combustion or electric).
Volume units supported by the platform have been expanded to include Imperial (UK) gallons together with the existing US gallon and liter units.
The 'Units' tab of the 'Settings' dialog box now includes a 'Fuel Efficiency' option that allows vehicle fuel use to be specified in miles per gallon (both US and Imperial), kilometers per liter, or liters per 100 kilometers.
Speeding alerts are now configurable for an entire category of markers rather than on an individual marker-by-marker basis.
Saving a Hierarchy role, or making changes to a large Hierarchy, is now considerably faster than in previous releases due to various database improvements.
Three new asset report types have been added to the platform: 'Fleet Status', 'Jobsite Status' and 'Jobsite Daily Status'. These summarize the current status of a fleet, identify the equipment on site at job locations (markers), and show when assets arrived at a marker and left. Using these reports, users can identify under-utilized assets and see emerging utilization trends. Users can also bill hours to a job site for the specified timeframe.
The 'Details' tab of the 'InSight Alert Scripts' page now includes a timestamp indicating when the script was created and, if it has been edited since that time, the time and date the script was last updated.
The search filter on the 'Unassigned Users' tab of the 'Hierarchy' screen can now be used to filter the 'Full Name' column, in addition to the previous 'Username' column.
The 'Switch Diagnostic' speed alert configuration option has been relocated from the 'Speeding' tab of the 'Settings' dialog box to the new 'InSight Alerts' tab.
Custom reports can now be exported as plain text (.txt format), without strings wrapped in quote marks (as occurs in .csv export files).
New technology provides an enhanced mobile user experience with a faster and more user-friendly fleet map, easy access balloons pop-ups, and other mobile usability improvements.
Two new vehicle attributes have been added to the 'Edit Vehicle' dialog box: 'Class' and 'Body Type'.
The 'Task No.' field on the 'Edit Vehicle' dialog, and the 'Reg No.' and 'Task' fields on the 'Details' tab of the 'Vehicle Details' dialog, have been consolidated to use the text label 'Registration'.
Points with a 'Working' status viewed on the 'History' layer now include both duration and speed values in their information balloons (under the 'Status' value), and in the 'History Details' dialog.
The Verizon Connect Live!' feature has been re-branded as Verizon Connect Share.
The 'Saved View' and 'Fleet Hierarchy' selection panels on the 'Map' screen are now re-sizeable for better viewing on smaller/larger screens.
A new 'Show Inactive' checkbox has been added to the 'Flat List' tab of the 'Fleets & Teams' screen. Checking this box will display all vehicles that have been configured as inactive in the list, in addition to all active vehicles.
After navigating to an address from the 'Go To' dialog and clicking the 'Copy to clipboard' map balloon link, the map balloon will close to clearly indicate that the action was completed.
A link to the Verizon Connect Training Center has been added to the 'Help' section of the main menu for suitably configured accounts.
Drivers can now be searched for by their employee number in the map filter field. These searches use 'driver.employeenumber:' formatting.
The number of results last configured to show on the 'Find Nearest Vehicle' dialog (using the options cog tab) is now stored in browser memory, and selected automatically.
Disabled user accounts can now be identified and filtered on the 'Subusers' screen by enabling the new 'Disabled' column option.
Added direct access to the Verizon Connect Navigation NaviGo portal. When an account is configured to support this feature, a new 'Navigation Portal' menu option will be listed under the 'Main' menu section.
Four Hierarchy levels (levels 1-4) have been added to the 'Vehicle List' tab of the 'Column Settings' dialog.
'Penske number', 'Last Point Received', 'Hierarchy Level 4', and 'Employee Number' are now selectable in the list view.
Insight Alerts now include a new 'Ignore unreliable location data' checkbox to prevent bad, unreliable or no GPS points triggering an alert.
'DTCs', 'Battery voltage' and 'Backup Battery voltage' can now be selected from the 'Custom Fields' tab on the 'Column Settings' dialog.
When editing a marker, only the marker currently being edited will be visible on the map. Other markers will re-appear only once the editing process has been completed.
Reports that include timestamps now include the time zone in which the report was run in their headers.
The new 'DTC Activity Report' is now available from the report tree for customers configured to use Engine Diagnostics reports.
The new 'Hours Of Service Enterprise Violation Report' is now available from the report tree for customers configured to use Hours Of Service reports.
The 'Hours Of Service Available Hours Report' and the 'Hours Of Service Violation Report' have been changed to display the drivers' base markers.
The 'Hours Of Service Violation Report' has had its layout improved and now displays the total violation count as well as a violation time aggregate across the entire report.
The Road Edits system has been improved to include a tab for creating road edits and a tab for managing road edits. In addition to road closures and speed limit changes, you can limit access on additional attributes, such has vehicle dimensions and truck behavior. Speed Limit Edits reports have been deprecated in favor of map visualization of all edits.
Users can now filter markers from the 'Set Base' dialog when setting the base location for a vehicle or driver from the 'Hierarchy' screen (this dialog is displayed after pressing the 'Set Base' button).
GF Co-Location Reports now support markers with a secondary category of showup. Previously, these markers were required to be in a primary category configured as a showup (that is, with a category name containing the text 'Show_Up').
The obsolete 'Lost Filter' option has been removed from the 'Map' screen filter list.
The setting 'Can Use 100 Mile Exemption' has been added to the Verizon Connect Mobile' tab within the 'Driver' settings and to the 'Mobile Defaults' tab within the 'Settings' dialog.
A new 'Unassigned Miles' tab has been added to the 'Settings' dialog.
Users can now enable push notifications for InSight Alerts and receive notifications about alerts on their mobile devices.
Users can now enable or disable Navigation, as well as change Navigation settings, globally for their account or individually for particular drivers.
A new 'Routing Defaults' tab has been added to the 'Settings' dialog.
The setting 'Trips' has been added to the Verizon Connect Mobile' tab within the 'Driver' settings and to the 'Mobile Defaults' tab within the 'Settings' dialog. It allows users to enable or disable support for the Trips app.
The 'DVIR' tab has been added to the 'Asset Types' screen. It allows you to specify the DVIR form templates to associate with the asset type. The selected forms will then be presented to Verizon Connect® WorkPlan™ users for vehicles that are of the associated asset type.
Users can now specify 'DVIR Walkaround Settings' within the 'Form Builder', which are used to work out the probability of a vehicle walk around during inspection made using Verizon Connect® WorkPlan™. The DVIR Walkaround results can be viewed in the 'Walkaround Completed' column of the 'Driver Forms' table.
The setting 'Walkaround' has been added to the 'Mobile Defaults' tab within the 'Settings' dialog. It allows users to enable or disable support for monitoring DVIR walk around inspections.
The settings 'Can Switch Ruleset' and 'Can Enable Oilfield' have been added to the Verizon Connect Mobile' tab within the 'Driver' settings and to the 'Mobile Defaults' tab within the 'Settings' dialog.
The usability of the 'DVIR' settings tab on the 'Asset Type' page has been improved.
Support for hidden form elements in driver forms has been added.
A new built-in report for "HOS Weekly Available Hours" has been added.

Vehicles and Markers on the map now list their updated addresses after changes have been made to their latitude/longitude coordinates.
