The hardware tab displays information about the unit that is installed on the vehicle.
•
Inputs lists the enabled inputs connected to the unit and their current readings.
•
Outputs lets you send commands to the unit, such as a command to prevent turning on the ignition. In some cases, you might be prompted for a reason before the output is sent.

Devices lists information about the unit itself, including:
o
Last Report: The time and date of the last report the server received from the vehicle.
o
Install Type: The assigned Install Type. This value is set using the Fleets & Teams or Hierarchy screen. This feature is not available in all versions.
o
GPS Quality: The quality of the last GPS point received. (This is not available in all versions)
o
IP: The wireless address of the unit installed in the vehicle.
o
System ID: The internal identifier of the unit in the vehicle.
o
Serial No: The serial number of the unit in the vehicle (the ESN).

Poll Vehicle lets you send a message to the unit on the vehicle requesting an unscheduled report of the vehicle's location and status. This button is not available in all versions.
If your account includes the Remote Services feature for OnStar equipped General Motors vehicles (MY 2011+), the Outputs tab might include options to remotely:
•
Lock and unlock a vehicle's doors. This feature can be used to reduce downtime due to driver lockouts, to ensure a vehicle is secure, and to prevent damage to vehicles.
•
Turn a vehicle's headlights and horn on or off. This feature can be used to find lost vehicles, to improve visibility, and to aid solo drivers.
•
Start or stop the vehicle's engine (for vehicles equipped with the required hardware). This feature can be used to warm up a vehicle, and to reduce fuel costs by preventing unnecessary idling.
To send a command to a vehicle:
•
Click the text link beside the vehicle command you want to send. A contextual menu opens.
•
Select the Send command option from the menu.
•
Click Yes to confirm the command, or click No to cancel. If you clicked Yes, the command is sent to the vehicle and executed. This might take a moment.
To view the outputs and commands that are configured for individual vehicles, click a vehicle from the Vehicles List grid, then select the Edit Vehicle option from the contextual menu that opens. In the Edit Vehicle dialog box that opens, select the Hardware tab, then click Outputs. In the dialog box that opens you can re-name the outputs associated with each command.
On MY2015+ vehicles, DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) might also be shown on:
The categories that these DTCs relate to are indicated by the first letter of the code. These can be Powertrain (P), Chassis (C) or Body (B) errors that trigger a vehicle Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL).
