Details Page

The Details page lets you view or edit information that identifies the driver's employee details and a photo of the driver. Items include:

Name:

The name of the driver as it appears in dialog boxes and lists.

Driver nicknames can be used by other components of the system. Some of these other components (such as Verizon Connect® Mobile™ applications) might not work properly unless the driver nickname is formatted properly. Because of this, it is recommended that you create driver names that contain no spaces and that only contain alphanumeric characters ("a-z", "A-Z", and "0-9").

It is also safe to include underscore ("_") or hyphen ("-") characters in a driver nickname, although this is not recommended because of usability considerations.

Employee No:

The driver's employee number.

Supervisor ID:

Identifies the driver's supervisor.

Last Name:

The driver's family name. This field is required for drivers using WorkPlan as an ELD.

When you do this, the control displays a drop-down list where you can choose the driver's mobile carrier. When you click Use, the correct suffix is automatically inserted into this field, and you can edit it to include the mobile phone number.

The depot (marker) where this driver is based.

Current Vehicle:

The vehicle that the driver is currently assigned to. To change this value, you must use the Change Driver item on a vehicle menu.
