Hierarchy Reports

Hierarchy reports show how vehicles, drivers and users are assigned to the nodes of the hierarchy. There are four types of hierarchy reports:

Listing: Indicates the hierarchy node to which each vehicle, driver, and user is assigned.
Overview: Indicates the units (vehicles), drivers, and users assigned to each node of the hierarchy.
Users: Indicates the users assigned to each node of the hierarchy.
Configuration: Indicates the dashboard configuration settings that correspond to each node in the hierarchy.

Unlike other built-in report types, Hierarchy reports only allow one node item to be selected in the tree list. As you select nodes from the tree, any node selected previously is deselected. Only the node that was selected last, and any child nodes belonging to it, are used to generate the report.

The Listing report is divided into sections for Vehicles, Drivers, and Users. In each section, it lists all the vehicles, drivers, or users assigned to hierarchy nodes, giving the name of the item, followed by its hierarchy node (specified by a set of parent node names, starting with the root node). For vehicles, the report also gives the serial number of the unit on the vehicle (ESN) and a flag indicating if the vehicle is inactive (not visible outside the Hierarchy screen).

The Overview report lists each hierarchy node, starting with the root node. For each node, it lists the vehicles (units), drivers, and users assigned to the node, giving the name and the type of item (unit, driver, or user).

The Users report lists each hierarchy node, starting with the root node. For each node, it lists the users assigned to the node, giving the username, full name, and email.

The Configuration report lists each hierarchy node, starting with the root node. For each node, it lists the KPI targets set for each node in the hierarchy.

Report Settings

The options specific to Hierarchy reports that you can set are as follows:

Hierarchy Node: The root node of the portion of the hierarchy included in the report.
