How to Configure the Main Page

dashboard main page

The main page of the dashboard presents information in a grid. Each row of the grid represents a sub-fleet of the fleet you are looking at. Each column represents the data for a single KPI. At the far right, each row displays summary statistics for the entire row. Below the grid, summary statistics for each column are displayed.

Cell Color

The color of each cell in the grid lets you see at a glance which performance indicators are most in need of attention for any given sub-fleet. Cells can be green, amber, or red:

Green: The number of events for the KPI is a small percentage of the events for the sub-fleet.
Amber: The number of events for the KPI is a medium percentage of the events for the sub-fleet.
Red: The number of events for the KPI is a high percentage of the events for the sub-fleet.

Note that the colors reflect the percentage of total events for the sub-fleet that result from each KPI. The dashboard bases colors on the percentage of total events for a sub-fleet rather than the absolute count of events so that you can set meaningful color thresholds even if you have sub-fleets with vastly different numbers of vehicles.

To configure which color the dashboard uses to display cells on the main page:

1.Select Settings from the dashboard toolbar.
2.Move the upper slider to specify the percentage of total events for the sub-fleet that is the threshold for displaying a cell as amber. All cells with a lower percentage than this value are displayed in green. All cells with a higher percentage are displayed in amber or red.
3.Move the lower slider to specify the percentage of total events that is the threshold for displaying a cell as red. All cells with a lower percentage than this are displayed in green or amber. All cells with a higher percentage are displayed in red.

Cell Contents

In addition to color, each cell displays a number. You can specify whether this number is the percentage of events for the sub-fleet or the actual count of events.

To configure which number the cell displays:

1.Click the Count/Percentage toggle in the dashboard toolbar.
