Completing Jobs

The Jobs screen lists your jobs for a particular day, grouped by routes. The Today screen shows the next jobs for a single route only.

You can work through your job list from the Jobs screen or from the Today screen.

If your account requires it, you might need to accept your next route on the Jobs screen before you start completing your jobs.

Accepting or Rejecting a Route

Before you start working through your list of jobs, you might need to accept or reject the routes that contain the jobs.

To accept or reject a route:

1.Go to the Jobs screen.
2.Tap Accept or Reject in the relevant route's section.

Changing the Order of Jobs in a Route

If your jobs are ordered incorrectly, you might be able to change the order. You must have an internet connection to change the job order. You cannot change the order of the following types of jobs:

 

Jobs with dates or times in the past.
Jobs that are marked as "On Site" or "Completed".
Jobs that have been set to occur at your depot or base location.

To change the order of jobs in a route:

1.Go to the Jobs screen.
2.Tap the More icon in the route section for the job.
3.Tap Update Job Ordering.
4.Change the order of the jobs by touching the list icon and dragging the job up or down in the jobs list.

 
5.Tap Save.

Completing a Job

To complete a job:

1.From the Jobs screen, or the Today screen, tap the name of the next job.
2.Tap En Route.

 
3.You can optionally view the job on the map or get directions to the job using Verizon Connect® Navigation™ or another navigation app. To do this, tap on the Menu icon in the upper right corner of the screen and select the relevant option.

 
4.Drive to the location of the job.
5.When you arrive at the job, tap On Site.

 
6.Perform any duties at the job site. You might need to fill out one or more job forms.
7.Tap Completed when you have completed the job.
8.From the Jobs or Today screen, select the next job, or leave your vehicle and sign out for the day.

Viewing a Job or Route on the Map

To view a route on the map:

 

1.Go to the Jobs screen.
2.Tap the Menu icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
3.Tap the option Show on Map.

To view a job on the map:

 

1.Go to the Jobs screen.
2.Tap on the job you want to view on the map.
3.Tap the Menu icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
4.Tap the option Show on Map.

Getting Directions to a Job

To get directions to a job:

 

1.Go to the Jobs screen.
2.Tap on the job you want to navigate to.
3.Tap the Menu icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
4.Tap the option Get Directions.
5.If you have Verizon Connect® Navigation™ installed, the app will open with the destination set to the job's location. Otherwise, another navigation app will be used, such as Google Maps on Android devices or Apple Maps on iOS devices.
